Sunday Six - the angsty romcom continues

galaxysoup(Sunday Six is a concept that naye suggested importing from tumblr, which I think is an awesome plan! The idea is that you take six sentences from a WIP and post them, partially to give yourself a writing push and partially also to whet the appetites of people interested in such things. My previous non-DW Sunday Sixes are on tumblr here and you might have fun going through the general Sunday Six tag as well).
Strangely, there’s almost a kind of peace in knowing that the explosion is coming soon. Shen Wei has done what he set out to do, more or less, and what comes next is out of his control. Preventing it is impossible. There’s no use worrying about it anymore.
He hadn’t realized how much worrying about it was costing him until he stopped.
(This story is now 40k long. What. On the plus side, I only have five scenes left to write, and then... THE EDITING. Dun dun duuuunnnnnn!)
